Pumpkin Patch Pedal

In cooperation with 1000 Acre Ranch, guests can enjoy our pumpkin patch and each rider can select a pumpkin to take home with them. This majestic 9 mile round trip begins at our Thurman depot in the shadow of Hickory Mountain and is nestled in the Hudson River Valley. Pedaling up the tracks, riders will enjoy mountain views of the Three Sisters Range while riding along the mighty Hudson as it widens and fills this Adirondack valley.  Entering Stony Creek, riders come into the vibrant 1000 Acre Ranch seated below Deer Leap Mountain where you can enjoy the Ranch’s grounds featuring games, horses, concession stand and restrooms.  On the way back to the Station you’ll get different views of the mountains and river, and wildlife is often spotted on this trip- it’s a true Adirondack gem!
